Meet Our Dentist
Duane Robert, DMD
Dr. Dwayne Robert graduated from high school in Vidalia, Georgia. He earned his Bachelors of Science from Mercer University in Macon, Georgia, and his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry (now the Dental College of Georgia). The founder of Blackshear Family Dentistry, Dr. Robert merged into the Georgia Smile Group in 2020 and has proudly served the patients of Blackshear for over 40 years. His patients travel far and wide to see him and also include members of the communities of Ware, Appling, Bacon, Wayne, Pierce, and Brantley counties. Dr. Robert and his wife, Charlotte, share three children: a son and two daughters. He is passionate about golfing and relaxes by spending time perfecting his game. An avid vocalist, he enjoys singing in the choir at Central Baptist Church in Waycross, Georgia.
Austin Brown, DDS
Dr. Austin Brown grew up in the Golden Isles and attended high school at Glynn Academy in Brunswick, Georgia. He studied Biological Sciences at the University of Georgia, where he graduated Cum Laude. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry in Richmond, Virginia. He returned to coastal Georgia to practice the profession, where he proudly serves the patients of Glynn, MacIntosh, Camden, Brantley, Wayne, Pierce, Coffee, and Bacon counties. He is a member of the Georgia Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and the Glynn County Dental Study Club. Dr. Brown is an avid golfer and enjoys spending the weekends perfecting his game. He also has a passion for music and plays the guitar. A huge college football fan, Dr Brown loves cheering on his Alma Mater on Saturdays in the Fall…Go Dawgs!
Donna Fraser, DDS
Dr. Donna Fraser graduated from The University of Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in 1988 with her Doctor of Dental Surgery. She went on to complete a general practice residency program at Buffalo General Hospital in 1989.
Dr. Fraser owned a dental practice for nearly three decades, caring for the dental needs of the communities in the western part of New York State. With over 30 years of experience treating patients of all ages, Dr. Fraser enjoys working with children, teens, adults, and seniors. Dr. Fraser relocated to Brunswick, Georgia where she lives with her three dogs and two cats.
She loves the warm weather and beaches of coastal Georgia. She is fond of motorcycle rides, improving her golf game, and kayaking in the rivers of South Georgia.
